You can expect to experience a scratchy/ prickly sensation as the spicules are being hand-massaged into the skin. This typically takes around 10 minutes to complete and can be a bit uncomfortable for some patients. A sheet mask is applied afterwards to cool and hydrate the treatment area.
Immediately after your skin will feel flushed and hot and have all-over erythema (redness.) Depending on sensitivity and skin conditions, some patients appear redder than others.
