Results typically last anywhere between 6 and 12 months before requiring a touch-up or additional treatment. However, the longevity of the results can depend on factors such as the individual’s metabolism, lifestyle habits, and the amount of lip filler used during the initial treatment.

During the procedure, you may experience some discomfort, however, we do recommend the optional topical anaesthetic that will make a significant difference to your comfort level. Our skilled practitioners do everything they can to make the lip filler treatment as comfortable as possible for you.

As with any medical procedure, there are some risks associated with lip fillers including, bleeding and pain at the injection sites, cold sore reactivation, discolouration or tenderness, infection, tissue death and asymmetrical lips. However, not to worry, at Shape Studio our trained technicians follow the proper protocols to minimise these risks.

Our clients can expect to see visible results immediately after the lip filler treatment, with the full effects settling in over a week or two.

To maintain your lip filler results, you will need to schedule touch-up appointments every 6 to 12 months, depending on how quickly your body metabolises the filler.

In the rare case that you are unsatisfied with your results or experience any complications, our qualified providers can use hyaluronidase to dissolve the lip filler material. This is a delicate procedure that should only be performed by a trained professional to ensure your safety and optimal results.
